How do I get a list of the document merge fields in Mac?

This can be done by going to the documents window, highlighting a document template, and clicking on the Edit Template button.
When the template editor opens up select the category of fields that you want to see (at the top of the window, you can select all fields if you want) then click on the Edit Fields button.
Then Right click on any row and select Create Report/Portrait.
This will prepare a report which can be printed or saved as a PDF.
