Major Enhancements Details Receipting Changes Receipts can now be allocated to any invoice for a firm, not just a matter You can now have credit receipts where the money is received beforehand Receipts and Receive Money have been combined into one window Contacts Changes The Firms and Contacts have been merged into one Contacts system This allows direct access clients Also people can belong to a company and inherit their address so it still works similarly to the old system but you can have address for individuals Diary Changes Reminders for Diary Entries occur for each instance of an appointment not just the first one Reminders are now defined as X minutes before the start time The recurrence of appointments has had the interface improved You can have yearly recurrence There was a bug in recurring appointments where appointments in Day/Week view were not showing has been fixed You can use the Diary to create WIP entries All day events now show at the top of the window Document Changes The Letter window allows navigation to other folders, this allows sub folders of templates The letter system can set the header/footer for all of your templates using an example template New templates have been prepared to use the Court information in Forms Matter Changes Pro Bono and Speculative Billing Methods have been added to matters List and Registry has been added to matters Chronology/Authorities/Estimate Changes Chronology has been improved to allow times and date/time ranges. Estimates allows bigger description Estimates allows Ex-GST and Inc-GST amounts The Matter Authorities window has been improved Authorities allows you store the location of a file as well as a web site URL that you can use to go back to as a reference. Usability Changes Disbursements are now created within Spend Money Images have been put on all small buttons that give you extra detail for a field Filtering has been improved Many of the windows have had the Display options improved The windows are more consistent in their look and feel Verification has been deprecated Allows different GST rates and names (eg VAT) for international use. Can specify GST Ex/Inc/Free as the default rate in System setup
